“Dragon,” I blurted out as if it wasn’t already obvious. “I thought they were extinct,” said Kendra as she rode up next to me. “Apparently, we were wrong,” replied Stan. Suddenly, a wave of heat blasted us from behind but it wasn’t accompanied by fire as expected. I turned to see that Oliver had raised a huge block of earth to prevent the fire spit out by another dragon from getting to us; but, unfortunately, not the heat. He sent the block flying at the dragon’s face but the latter crashed through it like it was nothing but a fluffy cushion.
