I raised my hand and touched the glass window inside the lobby of Chadni Hall. Just beyond was the jagged skyline of the forest. I used to crave the darkness inside it, as if it was just waiting for me, but now I longed only to see a sunrise.
The sun brought life. The darkness brought death. I was tired of death.
