I went about my day until it was time for therapy, and then I tried to be excited about spending two or three hours with Maddox. I’m not even sure who thought it’d be a wise idea to have more than one hour of therapy. I stopped by my apartment first to change my clothes, and then I stopped by the cafeteria to eat something for the first time that day. I skipped breakfast and lunch for reasons I have now forgotten. Oh, well.
I made my way to the building where his office would be. The sun was setting beautifully in some parts of the world, maybe even some parts of Japan, but this school is the void that beauty avoids. From the tallest building here, you can’t see the sun setting. Or even get a beautiful view of the horizon.
