Oh, s**t!
When I spun around, Steve looked even madder than he’d been at the store.
His finger that was pointing at the door started to shake, apparently from sheer rage. But then his face started to crack, and he doubled over, bursting into laughter.
“What the—?”
“Just…yankin’ your…chain…buddy!” he babbled between his guffaws.
“Oh, s**t! I thought you were serious!”
“I am serious that I can’t believe you’ve never watched my favorite show!”
“Well, I guess I’ll have to now…you asshole!”
That made him burst into laughter all over again. I just shook my head and grinned, trying not to laugh. Man, he really got me!
“So you say this big thing is a costume?” I asked, turning back toward the huge monstrosity in the corner.
