The next morning

I woke up earlier than my usual time maybe because I was so excited to sleep.

I had my bath and finished within minutes. I took my time to prepare myself because I wanted to look as attractive as possible.

I wore a short black gown which cling to my body exposing my model shape.

The gown wasn't sleeveless so I didn't think about wearing a jacket .

I wasn't the makeup fan so I just applied powder and lip gloss just to look okay.

I arranged my hair to the style that suites me best and wore my white sneakers and a white handbag to match. When it comes to fashion I was a freak and loved looking my best.

I took out my sunshade and left the house without eating again. I didn't even bother to check up on my mum .

She would have been suspicious about movement today that was why I didn't let her see me.

Unlike before, today I attracted a lot of stares from guys but I didn't even pay attention to them

"They are not my type" I said to myself

I had to go to class first to see Debbie , she texted me

" Please see me in School today"

I saw her in class and it was quite usual .

Debbie never came to class unless when we were having tests or when she didn't have an appointment to keep.

"What's up baby girl" I said when I got to her

She looked up from her mouth and her mouth opened in admiration

" Your so damn hot today, someone found herself a boyfriend" she said with a wink

" It's not what you think " I replied

" So who is taking my baby girl out today?" She asked suspicious

"It's a long gist but I will explain everything when I get back" I told her , I really didn't want to spill the beans yet.

" Okay, about the text I sent you, I have broken up with him" Debbie said plainly

" Which of them?" Was the the question i was tempted to ask but instead I shouted

"What!!!!"

" Yeah, he doesn't trust me and constantly accused me of cheating, so why should I remain the relationship?" She asked bluntly

That wasn't a question meant to be answered. Honestly if Debbie was accused of cheating it was 100 percent true.

As her best friend I knew some of the relationships she had but I just had to keep my mouth shut.

" It's a girls code"

"What was his response?" I asked after a while

" I haven't checked to see his response but whatever it is I don't care at all, we are done with the relationship" she explained

I just let out a sigh

"Everything was just going abnormal" I thought

" Emily give me a second" Debbie said to me leaving to meet another guy I presume she was also dating

"Debbie can and will never change" I thought

She came after some time, collected her bag and left immediately

My phone rang almost immediately and I looked to see who was calling

"Jasper"

I quickly answered the call in my most sweetest tone.

( Jasper's POV)

I woke up to see a break up message from Debbie. It read

" Jasper, I am officially breaking up with you since you don't trust me"

I felt a prick in my heart and for seconds I didn't do anything.

I sighed as I closed the message

" She's playing the innocent one now"I thought

I felt so bad and the only person I could think of talking to was Emily. I had to give her a call.

She answered immediately with the most sweetest voice ever

" Howie" she said nicely

I smiled hearing her voice she was really the medicine I needed to feel alright again

" How are you doing?"I asked

" Am fine and so excited" she replied

I was tempted to ask her why she was happy but I shrugged it off.

" So where do you want to go Emily? Am feeling so down and I just want to spend today with you" I said playfully but deep down I knew I really wanted to spend the day with her.

" I really don't know it rained all through the night so we can only go out when the sun comes up" she said

"Damn" I shouted and punched the wall

"Someone is getting angry" she said as she laughed and then I joined her.

She was really a fun person even now I was hurt and sad but here she was making we go to excited.

I really wanted to tell her the feelings I had for her but I knew she won't believe me

" We just met yesterday so how will she believe I was in love with her? Or she might think I was just using her to forget Debbie" I thought

Whatever it was I knew deep down I had fallen for her already.

"So you want us to see when the sun comes out? What if the sun doesn't shine?" I asked

She didn't reply for a while and I presumed she was thinking of what I said

" Where are you now?" She asked after some time

" In my lodge" I answered and inwardly prayed it was what I was thinking.

"Am in class but maybe we could wait for a while if after that we can postpone it" she said

Her last words hurt me so badly for sometime I felt dejected. I didn't really blame her though ,deep down I knew she would want to come over but maybe she didn't want to look so cheap.

" This was the time to prove I was in love with her"

" Give me about 15 minutes" I said and hung up

I was going to see her in her department . Coincidenly she was in the same department with Debbie and that means i might see the Debbie I had been dodging to see for sometime . It was no big deal as long as it was Emily I was going to sacrifice anything.

I had my bath and dressed up Immediately I really wanted to surprise Emily.

I looked my best and then left the house after ensuring the doors were locked...
