"Camilla! Camilla! Camilla! wake up!!" I heard someone shouting my name from far, I couldn't figure out who it was since everything was dark, all of a sudden I felt something cold on my face,uh it is water!

Camilla get out of bed , you're getting late for school, shouted my mum

(groaning heavily)uhh were you the one shouting my name mum or I was having a night mare?

I have been calling you several times and you were not responding. listening to her I take a look at my clock besides my bed "shoot it's already 8 am" I'm late for my early classes, immediately I Rushed to the bathroom en took a shower, hurriedly dressed en rushed out for my early classes

Mmh I'm late, I respond as I close the main gate

my school is not far from where I leave, luckily I got there when the lectures were about to start,, everyone was settled,I hesitated to enter in class,I didn't want everyone's eyes to be on me😭

Camilla!!what are you doing outside...it was Bekley, yeah she's always late,I was so relieved to see her, atleast I got some whom I can go in with.

The lectures took 2 hours,,2 good hours I'm in that class but I can't even remember what the lecturer said 2 minutes ago,Istg nursing is going to be the end of me,I cursed the day I decided to pursue that career.

The next class was to resume at 2 so I decided to go home en have my lunch, squeezing myself through the main gate since that school has many students thinking it was the only place available,I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder,I didn't bother to see who it was

"Hey Camilla"

Hell yeah,now you've got my attention

"Heyy Aaron,ssup?" I responded to him while making myself busy in my phone doing nothing.🤧

"I'm good,I tried to get in touch with you at the main get but you didn't respond".

Sorry I didn't hear you, knowing very well I snobbed him

We I'm going to grab some coffee at the Cafe' , would you mind joining me?

"Mmh I would love to but I really have something important to deliver back at home"..uh there you go again Camilla, lying as usual.

Well it's fine, mind if I walk you to your house?he asked

I couldn't find a better way to say to this so I had to agree .I haven't known him for a long time but i know he is my coursemate,he asked for my number and I couldn't say no,we exchanged our phone numbers en parted ways,I didn't even know where he stayed.

I have been Camilla around the school but I never get time to talk to her,she barely has friends and loves to be alone all the time,she seems so much interested, well,today is my lucky day ,she gave me her number.

"Hi" I sent a text to her hoping she won't snob me.

"Hello, who's this" She replied

"uh sorry, it's me Aron, how's you?" I texted back

"I'm fine, having some lone time"

"Since today it's ona weekend, would you mind coming over to my place,,we can chill together you know" I knew that wasn't the right way but uhh screw me!

I never saw her reply.. I'm cooked, couldn't I think of something cool to tell her

So sick of Aaron to think I could go to his place,but he'll yeah I could have gone.the real problem is with my mum!!!!she thinks I'm still in baby class I need to be baby sitter,she can't even allow me get my own place like the other teenagers,,istg my freedom is corrupted

I decided to ask her again about me moving out to my place

"mum" I call her

"yes" she responds while busy on her phone

"I was wondering why can't you let me have my own place,like the ones opposite the school,they are so cool en..."

" I thought we spoke about this Camilla "she retorted before I could finish talking

I don't know why but I was kinda shaking, I'm afraid of my mum and I don't understand why,we barely sit down to have mother -daughter talks because she's always at work and I don't feel comfortable talking to her about anything concerning me unless it's very essential

I didn't what to say

" mmh it's fine" I said walking out to my room

Staying at your parents house is for free but you've to pay with your mental health I swear "

I was bored in my room so I decided to chat Aaron

"Sure it's fine,at what time?" I texted back not knowing which excuse to use en get there,to be honest I never expected him to reply coz I snobbed him.

"okay I'll come over at 4,it will be okay if you pin me your location coz I done where you say ha" I tried to make it sound funny coz how on earth I couldn't know where he stayed

" Tell me you're joking!!! I'm your neighbor Camillaaaa"I could hear him screaming thru' the text

" Sorry I barely know my neighbors,I'm serious introverted ass , indoor is my thing "the only valid reason I had for not knowing his place

" it's fine anyway,I'm waiting for you "

Alright gimme a sec, I'll be there" I replied thinking of a legit excuse to give my mum

" mum I'm stepping out for a second " I told her expecting a bombastic side eye which will send me back to my room.

" Don't be out for long Camilla it's getting late"she said while waiting at me as a go sign.I swear I was surprised,I almost thought she as joking,I remained there standing.

" Are you not going again? " sha asked

" oh yeah!!I snapped back to reality before she could change her mind

At Aaron place,,I didn't ask for the exact house number so I had to give him a quick call, before I could hang up ,he was standing at the doorstep of his house

"Wow , that was too fast" I said

"it's not wow,do your findings" he said

I almost died of laughter,I swear I laugh his sense of humor

I gave him my hand for a handshake but he offered me a hug,,I could feel myself blushing sheepishly,, awkward moments uh.

"I'm so glad to see you, come inside" he said showing me the way

"after you" I said almost getting chocked with my own voice

The silence between us was so intense while walking to the resting room

"you've a nice place I must say" trying to break the silence between us.Little did I know I was mistaking a certified yapper for silent awkward person like me

"thank you,I'm trying to be honest" he said

"Perfection is what you're saying you're trying c'mon Aaron ' I said imitating his voice

" uh okayy, if you say so" smiling sheepishly he said

Make yourself while I get us something to drink from the fridge,,uhh what would you love to take?" he inquired

"I'm okay with anything" honestly I didn't have an Idea what I should take

"Anything means even alcohol right" he said laughing

"oh please " I retorted back, anything which is alcohol free

he shouted okay while at the kitchen side

"So you don't take alcohol" asking, pretending to be surprised

"alcohol ain't my thing" I said calmly

He getse a glass of juice an sit beside me on the couch as he starts scrolling through his phone. Honestly I feel so bad like why is he even giving me time,I Mean did he ask me to come me to come over just to sit over there en watch him scroll through his phone.

I didn't say a thing I took mine out en started scrolling through t****k too..

"so Camilla" clearing his throat loudly,"there's something I'll love to tell you,I don't know if it's asking or tell you,I mean I have known you for long more than you have known en I think that's enough for me to ask you to be my girlfriend..."
