I dragged Keanu along whilst Star held unto the bag of herbs I had gathered .
Before we reached the camp , I could already smell it , the smell of roasted meat wafted deliciously around us , filling the air and our nostrils .
I stopped moving and released Keanu from the tight grip I had held him in , he stumbled a little surprised at the sudden release .
I stood still , closing my eyes as I breathed in the smell of forest roasted meat , it had been so long since I had last smelled this heat that came out of meat .
It brought memories of Mama and I , I smiled remembering how great Ali was with roasting meat too .
I opened my eyes when my leg was nudged .
I looked down to see Star practically drooling , her spittle had travelled down around the handle of the bag that she held bet
