He watched them ahead .

Ali was telling Juno something he did not want to hear , he kept flinching like the words were actually hitting him .

The sun had began to set , it reminded him of the last time he had been in this forest when the sun had been setting .

He had been trying to catch the thief , running from wolves and had been in a sour mood .

A few days later , not only did he know the identity of the thief , he was risking his life to protect the identity of said thief .

The wolves he had been running from now walked and occasionally smiled at him or whatever the wolf variant of smiling was .

Fortunately , he had been able to keep something , he was still in a sour mood .

In fact , right now his mood was worse than before he knew the identity of the thief .

He noticed that the trees had gradually began to thin out , letting them have a view of the red sky .

" Hey ".

He looked at the source , Keanu had strode up to him .

He turned completely to search for Nero , he stood a few steps behind them , a surly expression on his face .

He turned back to watch the back of Ali and Juno's heads .

They had a lot of things in common , their vigilance of persons that did not care for them , their love for wolves , even their taste in clothes was similar .

They were carrying the same type of braid too and their hair had similar lengths .

As if they knew he was staring at them , they both turned simultaneously .

The cub was awake and Juno looked slightly out of it , his arm rested in the crook of Ali's .

" We should make a fire , this is where we will pass the night " , Ali said .

Vita looked around , Ali had strategically picked a spot that resembled a small clearing .

A large group of travellers must have used it recently , there was still little wood they did not use .

Ali whispered something to Juno and moved away , he moved out of the clearing and into the forest , the female wolf went with him .

Vita watched Juno , he was watching Ali leave .

Keanu approached and tapped him .

" We should get the fire going before he arrives with the more wood " .

He moved ahead of Vita to where the remaining wood had been stacked .

Nero went from behind him to where Juno stood , he said something that made Juno smile .

They began to talk as Nero led Juno to a log , they sat and continued their conversation .

Someone clapped , he turned .

Keanu stood with his hands on his waist .

" Did you not hear me ? We need to get the fire going ."

Vita nodded and got a move on , he would discuss whatever issues were between them before he slept .

He picked two of the logs and took them to where Keanu stood , he was gathering lint for the fire .

Vita made two more trips to where the wood had been stocked before he was able to clear them .

He stood behind Keanu as he watched the man try to light the fire , he struck and kept striking different objects , it seemed it was too cold for the objects to light .

He stopped Keanu when he realized that he was chipping at his fingers and they had gradually began to look raw .

" You should stop now , I'll try ".

Vita bent and took the lint out of his hands , Juno laughed at something Nero was saying .

He watched them for a moment before he struck at the lint .

He struck and struck and kept striking till Keanu stopped him too .

It seemed like when you were unable to create a spark , you impulsively began to continuously strike .

He stood and joined Keanu , he was watching Nero and Juno converse .

" Do you like him a lot ? " , Keanu asked .

Vita turned to look at his face , Keanu did not flinch even under Vita's brigadier stare .

Vita chalked it down to the darkening day .

" You definitely do " , Keanu replied to his own question .

" You should talk to him ,the one who loves more usually sacrifices more ".

Vita gave him a blank look , he did not intend to discuss his issues with Juno with third parties .

" You should pay attention to yourself before advising others ".

Keanu laughed at this , as he laughed , Nero and Juno turned to watch them .

Vita watched as Nero watched them with an amused expression .

Juno's expression surprised him the most , his eyes narrowed dangerously and he was glaring at them .

Vita's chest lightened remarkably , he had been worried about Juno not reciprocating his feelings .

Now , he realized that was uncalled for .

Suddenly , Vita wanted to do something he did not usually do , something that was quite unlike him , but he had learnt something from Juno after all .

He inhaled and let out a very loud , ringing laughter .

It lasted for a short while but it had been long enough for everyone to turn and stare at him like he had lost it .

He smiled at that , every other thing would be okay .
