It's been more than a month since I got home and I was already adjusting to the new life I had, although I haven't remembered anything except for some sayings which are a bit normal.
At work with Leonard, it was really interesting. I had learnt so much about working in a office and it feels like I had been doing it for a long time. Working in an office and sometimes outside the office was really real to me, it seems like it was what I loved most rather than the other things I heard Tracy loves.
"Knock Knock." I heard a knock on the door and the door opened immediately, by that I knew it was Leo.
The both of us are now okay, we still don't sleep in the same room but at least we're getting along really well. The only intimacy we've had is just kisses on the lips but no makeouts though.
"Hey." He came closer and I stood to meet him.
"Leo, what brings you here?" I smiled and he kissed my lips.
"Uhm, I miss my wife already." He smiled, his eyes brightening by the second.
"Oh really."
"Yes," He hugged me. "Tracy, I miss you so much already, I wish everything is fine."
"Everything is fine, I'm recovering well. I'm sure I'll regain my memory soon and we'd be normal again." I told him, but I really wished I could help him. I wish I remembered everything but I can't get so intimate with him without remembering anything.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't be talking this way but I hope you understand."
"I understand," This time I was the one that hugged him.
"So, I wanted to tell you about the new project we're on, the board has decided to allow you handle it."
My eyes widened, I definitely wasn't expecting that. "Why me?"
"Well, before the accident the board of directors have been planning to give you a project to handle but when the accident happened and you lost your memory, they decided to give it to someone else but it failed," He paused to look at my face.
"And now they've been watching you and already see that you're capable of handling it and you're now more better than you were before, so...that's why you were given."
"I still don't know much about this stuff, how will I go about it and where would I start and--"
"Shh!" He placed his finger on my lips. "You're going to do fine, trust yourself. That's what you always tell me."
Really, how come I don't believe that myself. "Okay Leo, what should I do now? I'll need your help greatly in this if I don't want to ruin this."
Leo smiled, "I won't be able to help as I have two building projects I'm working on but I know a certain someone who can help you."
"Who?"
"You've met him before but you don't remember, of course. It's Zak Torres."
Zak Torres, he meant Delancy's husband. Yay, really? "Zak Torres?"
"Yes, he's one of our most trusted architect in the company but he knows much about constructions too so I guess I'll ask him for help, he won't refuse don't worry."
"How are we going to meet him?" I asked, I don't really know why I'm so excited to meet him.
"I'll arrange a meeting with him, probably a new introduction again."
I smiled at Leo, he won't stop teasing. "Okay."
"Okay, I'll call him now." He kissed my forehead and turned to leave.
"Leo," I called and he turned back. "My drugs are almost finished."
"I'll call the hospital too then."
He left the office leaving me alone in silence. Why am I so excited about meeting Zak?
I moved the thought of Zak to the back of my head and I faced my work and soon I was done for the day.

"I'm tired."
I groaned and went upstairs to the room. Leo had taken Gretchen to her room since she slept off in the car earlier. We'll wake her up when it's dinnertime.
"I can swear I can joke, I say what's on--" I picked up my ringing phone.
"Hello?"
"Big sis! I'm back!"
I just realized who was talking, my sister, Milan. "Milan?" I still had to ask, it was necessary.
"Yes, could you come pick me up?" She said.
"Where are you?"
"At the airport."
"Okay, I'll be there in twenty." I ended the call and went to Leonard's room.
"Leo?" I knocked slightly and opened the door to his room. We haven't started sleeping together yet, thanks to me.
"Trace? You're?"
I blushed slightly as I immediately knew his thoughts, "No... I mean, I need to use the car, Milan asked me to pick her up."
"Milan? She's back?"
"Yes, she called me a few minutes ago." I replied.
"You can't go alone," Leo stated. "I doubt if you'll remember her besides if anything happens I would be there to help."
"Okay, let's go."
He pulled off his button up shirt and took a T-shirt from his closet, put it on and we went out of the house, hoping to be back before dinner.
We soon got to the airport and we entered and scanned around the arrivals.
"T!" We heard and Leo smiled, "That's Milan, she always calls you T."
I heard the voice again and I saw a beautiful young lady coming towards us, she looked like a younger version of me although I was more light in complexion.
A smile immediately formed on my face and I did what I felt was right at the moment. I hugged her.
"Sis," She hugged me back. "I missed you a lot, I heard about everything that happened." She then pulled away. "Are you fine now?" She then faced Leo, "Has she remembered?"
Leo smiled, "You just noticed I was standing here since. She's getting better and remembering little by little."
"I'm sorry, I just miss my sister." Milan said and put her hand over my shoulder. "Let's go, I've got a lot of story to tell."
We got home immediately in the car. During our ride, I was the one telling her about everything since the time I woke up, except my doubts of course.
After dinner, we went straight to my room after I had left Gretchen with her daddy as she didn't want to sleep.
"Tell me everything, why and what happened in Paris." I said, I was really excited to hear my sister's adventure in Paris.
She shook her head and her voice went low, "Men are scums."
