Chapter 28 - Out With Ian

Bella’ POV

I had picked out the clothes I will be wearing to go over to aunt Marla’s place tomorrow, she had told me to put on comfortable clothes so I picked a skinny jean and a comfortable long sleeved turtle neck shirt and a jacket, just in case in case it was cold.

Mum had called to tell me she had a dinner meeting so she won’t be home for dinner, so I had to eat dinner alone, I really didn’t want to eat alone, I wanted to eat out and have a good laugh with people, it was times like this when I really missed Danny, we would go out once in a while and have fun, mostly on days when we were home alone but he wasn’t around right now, I really missed him.

It was dinner time and I didn’t bother getting up to have dinner, Sofia had left long ago, she had some personal business to attend to, at least, she would have being some company but now she was gone and I was all alone sitting on the couch, watching boring TV shows.

I flicked through many TV channels before finally deciding on one that seemed a less boring, taking a deep breath, I sank further into the comfort the sofa offered,

“It’s going to be a long night” I said to myself,

Just then, the sound of my phone ringing disturbed the silence, I picked it up and looked at the screen, it was Ian calling, I felt a smile creeping into my face, I quickly pressed the answer icon,

“Hey Ian, what’s up?” I said,

“Hey Bella, are you busy? It’s boring as hell over here, mum had to go somewhere and I am home alone, if you are not busy, wanna go have some fun?” he said,

I felt the smile widen on my face “You are practically a life saver, I thought I was going to go completely crazy sitting home, doing nothing, let’s do it” I said,

Ian laughed and said “I will pick you up in 20 minutes, and please Bella, don’t wear a gown, we are going for drinks, let’s look a bit rugged tonight, what do you say?”

I laughed as well and said “I have just the perfect outfit in mind”

“I like the ominous feeling behind that statement, I will see in 20 minutes then” he said,

I laughed and said “See ya” and then the line went dead,

“Finally, some excitement” I said to myself as I jumped of the couch and raced toward the stairs to change my clothes.

20 minutes later, I heard the sound of a car horn blaring outside, I heard a knock on the door, I ran to it and opened it,

Zach was standing there with a smile on his face, his eyes went wide when they fell on me but he quickly cleared his throat and said “Good evening Miss Bella, Mr Ian is waiting outside for you”

“Thank you Zach, I am all set to go, if mum comes back before I return tell her, I went out with Ian” I said and stepped past him,

Zach gave me a bright smile and said “I hope you have a wonderful time Miss”

“Thank you Zach” I answered and walked toward the waiting car parked outside, judging from the smiles I was getting from everyone, it seemed liked they thought I was dating Ian, well I guess I could let everyone think that,

Ian waved at him as I walked toward him, I hurried over and got into the car,

Ian gave a low whistle and said “You look absolutely stunning” he said,

I laughed and said “That was the look I was hoping to achieve”

I was dressed in black skinny jean and a white shirt, I had a black leather jacket on, I finished off the dressing with a pair of black ankle boots, my hair was tied in a high pony tail,

“Well you completely aced it” Ian said with a smile,

“You don’t look so bad yourself” I said,

Ian was dressed in a white short sleeved T-Shirt that showed off his biceps, he had black jeans on and a variety of wrist bands on his wrists, his hair looked messy in an interesting way,

He shrugged casually and said “Well I can’t help looking so good all the time”

I rolled my eyes and said “Let’s go already”

Ian chuckled and said “You are right my dear Bella, the city awaits”

I laughed and said “And the night is young, let’s go have some fun”
