Chapter – 40
After he treated my hands and bandaged them, I took the stuff and went inside my room while he stayed seated on the couch. As I stripped out of the dress and saw the wounds on my stomach and back, they were gruesome. Worse than I thought, at the very least. It swelled my skin like an inflated balloon. If the areas of swelling were more aligned, then I'd look like a puffed and buffed bodybuilder. My blood dried on it the wounds, it was red and it shocked me why I didn’t feel the pain of such bizarre until now. It will soon get terrible and uncomfortable. The scratches on the back too were bad, but a little less than the sides, I'd say. It was some slight scratch to be treated at home. It will get infected. But mom and dad finding of today's incident was not what I wanted.
