Chapter – 66
“Here…” the lady slid two cups of coffee to us. “If you guys don’t mind, can we click a picture of you two together?” she asked, holding up a camera.
They clicked our pictures on their Polaroid camera and another phone’s camera. They gave one photograph to us and one went on the board.
Gannon,
“It came out good.” I looked at the picture and I understood why the server lady said we looked good together. That picture was adorable. She was more the way she smiled at the shot. It is the first picture of us together and definitely one to remember. I wanted to snatch it and keep it forever in my wallet. “Let’s drink before it gets cold,” I said, keeping my calm, not to get too nervous. But I couldn’t move my gaze from that picture even as I sipped the coffee.
