“That’s not what you need to
hear from. She will tell you when she wants.” Caspian answered. “She was
distancing herself from me, for what had happened between us in the past,
because she didn’t know that whole truth. But we made peace about it, last
night. To keep the past in the past and be more like the adults we are now. You
must not be aware of it, but Elena was my closest friend and only too, and our
parents have been friends for years. What we are is not that simple. What we
had or have been isn’t something to be over with a few words. It goes way back
further and deep.”
