“Hey…” Gannon said, seeing Elena waiting for him out of the class.
“Hey.” She waved. “Are you free right now? I think maybe we can use this time to talk.” She asked.
“Right now?”
“Yeah, are you busy? Since dad is here, it is going to be hard for us to go for dinner, I think. We can probably talk right now. But only if you are free.”
“No, not really. I mean, I'm not busy. But Caspian asked me to meet him after class. He wants to talk about something with me. And I thought we were having the conversation over dinner.” Gannon said. “But I can just cancel it and go on our date.”
