"A MacBook .. isn't this very expensive" I said very excitedly.

"It is but I still decided to buy it for you since you live reading novels so you can start writing your own" dad said.

"Thank you so much dad!" I squealed and gave him a tight hug.

?Tara?

**It isn't my fault I didn't like the gift ... Like... Who gets bicycle as his birthday gift am I a kid??** I thought as I sat down on the stool in the compound.

Soon....

"Tara!" I heard .oh that's mum.

**Here she goes again ** I thought and stood up to go meet her at the kitchen.

"Come on, help me with the cooking you've never helped me cook or even run errands " mum said not looking at me just doing her thing .

She put the used cutleries into the zinc.

"Wash those" she said and pointed at the zinc where used plates and cutleries are.

"What??... Me?" I asked in shock.

"Who else is standing there apart from you??" Mum asked cleaning the used area.

"I cant even do the dishes ... Like what do I even do??" I said getting stressed.

"Well... You can start now" mum said trying to clean.

"Mum, you can just give me another work to do apart from the dishes " I said stressed.

"Then you would prefer sweeping the whole house " mum said now looking at me.

"Uggghhh" I groaned.

"You better start now to avoid getting seriously hit , since I never do that then I'll start now" mum said and left the kitchen to throw the dirts away.

I'm still very excited.

Dad already taught me all I need to know about it.

"You are still very hyper won't you sleep?" Mum asked .

"I will I'm just very very excited and can't get it off my mind" I said grinning.

"Sleep early you'll be going to school tomorrow" mum said and went to her room .

I checked the time "9:09" I quickly picked up my PJ , went into the bathroom, pulled off my clothes and into the Bathtub I went.

I came out, laid on the bed, covered up and soon dozed off to sleep.

I finished doing the dishes .. I guess I tried my best on it.

I laid helplessly on the couch feeling tired

"What did you even do yet??... Goat!" Mum said as she walked back to the kitchen while I just ignored.

"You didn't even clean where you did the dishes.. not even completing the work.. you are very lazy" mum said probably disgusted.

"Mummmmm" I groaned.

"You'll be resuming Tara, and I still have little of your fees to pay up so please be good" she added.

I just rolled my eyes where I was.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, got up , and went into the bathroom to do my normal.

Soon, I was done , I picked my blue towel and tied it round my chest picked another and tied my wet hair.

I went into the bedroom, dried up and put on my undies and uniform which has a touch of white and grey.

I loosed the towel round my head and used my hair dryer to dry my hair and applied my oil and put my hair down straight.

I like it straight.

I picked up my backpack and went downstairs to the dining room and sat down on the chair to meet pancake and milk .

"Thanks mum" I said and ate .

"Be good , bye baby" mum said and kisses my forehead as soon as I was done eating and I went out of the house .

I waved at a cab , as soon as it stopped , I entered.

Off it went......

"Grrrrrrr"

My stupid alarm kept ringing till I got frustrated and tried putting it off cause I already snoozed it like 3 times.

"Will you get your lazy a*s up ?" Mum asked as she stood at the entrance of my room.

She left

And I tried getting more sleep and then I remembered I'll be resuming a new school today , I quickly got up and ran to the bathroom.

"Jeeez" I screamed as I slipped.

"What happened ??" Mum rushed in and said.

She saw me on the floor.

Mum started laughing.

"It isn't even funny" I groaned.

"Yes it is were your eyes even opened at all??" She kept laughing till she left .

I kept rubbing on my butt "it hurts as hell" I mumbled and finally started pulling off my PJ and went into the bathtub till cool water poured on my skin.

I was through and quickly came out and tiptoed to the room as water dropped off me and "ohh my!" I almost slipped again.

"What's going on??" I shouted.

I got into my room , put on my uniform and dried my hair, and got it curled .

Soon I was done and quickly picked up my backpack and went to the car with mum already seated.

I got in beside her at the fron seat and she handed me a burger to munch on before getting to school .

I got to the front gate of the school , got down from the cab, and paid the cabman "thanks" I said to him and smiled.

I looked around and my eyes landed on the large billboard which says "TALLMAN SCHOOL" .

"It's really big" escaped from my lips.

I walked in and straight to the principals office with the help of a student who seems like a junior to me.

"Thank you" I said to the girl and smiled at her and she ran back to where she was .

And I gave the door three knocks on its head?.

"Come in" I heard the tiny voice of what seems like a woman.

I pushed the door slowly and got in.

It's a really tall and thin woman with pointed shoes and nose and a pair of glasses resting on her nose.

She used her hand to user mea seat and I sat.

"You are??" She asked.

"Alyssa, I'm Alyssa, a newbie my dad registered me in " I said with a smile.

"Ohhh Ok You are welcome " she said like she doesn't smile .

She handed me all what I'll be needing for school and I was led to a class written as SS 2 . Oh nice! .

Students chatting, gisting, giggling and I entered silently but I still got noticed and was shown a seat at the widow side and I sat quietly.

**I hope I get no troubles in this school**

I saw a lot of students and I was immediately a centre of attention.

I walked in and sat at the available seat near a girl who looks a bit familiar.

I looked at her in the eyes and she....

She looked at me in the eyes and I also looked at her in the eye .

Looks like I got trouble as my seat partner?.
