JASMINE It turns out to be the worst journey I could have embarked on, even with Alec by my side. He doesn’t say a word to me after walking past, and I follow after him like a puppet. I hate the fact that he only leads without even telling me anything. I was pretty sure my father must have lectured him on a thing or two when he had led him on this same journey. I pout at the back of his head and my wolf’s sharp squirm warns of me a rock ahead. I am surprised that she is still so alert even after masking my scent. I stop abruptly and stare at the mountainous landmark ahead of us. Alec doesn’t slow down, nor does he care to look back at my struggles. I am not so good with climbing rocks, but he seems to scale over them like they are nonexistent. Only once does he stop to look back at me
