JASMINE. “Alec?” I call out softly. My voice bounces off what looks like walls. Are they really walls? They seem to shimmer and quiver, refracting light off it. It almost appears as a veil that I can pass through. The more I stare at it, the more enchanted I become. The beautiful dances, like the waves by the bank of the river, lapping at the fine stones polished over time by the tides. I stretch, my fingertips a few feet away from the glimmering veil when I hear a giggle from a distance. In the silence that once was, the giggle is prominent and permeates the air.
