The cold coursing through my veins numbs every nerve and limb. I feel my fingers turning frosty, causing me to lose grip of the bag in my hand slightly. My mind races, trying to spring up replies that can drag me out of this precarious situation. Where the hell did he even come from? 
 I swallowed and slowly turned to look at him. I hate the fact that he just had to walk in when I wore the hoodie, how do I explain this now? He has a frown on his face, his curious eyes squinting at the bag I hold in my frosty grasp. “Didn’t you hear what I said?” he asks again, “where are you going at this time of the night and dressed like that?” I sigh and roll my eyes, “Andre, please, not now.”
