JASMINE If not for his eyes or the way he perches uncomfortably on the bed, I can swear that I am seeing a ghost. His skin is pale, almost like the moon spilled its milk all over him. My eyes slowly rake every pore of his skin, searching for some semblance of warmth, but it appears like he has been submerged in ice for decades. My heart strums in a sad note, the melody echoing in my mind. Why? Why is he doing this? It is obvious what he is doing.
