Alec knocked and entered the office without waiting for permission. Ruslan had expected to see Grey or Karim. He was waiting for another batch of photo reports and medication. Ever since being close to Luna, the need to be near her twisted him inside out. He needed her scent to linger on his skin. Little Luna was supposed to smell like him—every two-faced creature had to know that this girl was taken.
To keep himself from breaking and rushing to her after the hunt with his brother, he had returned to the apartment under guard escort. He slept in a bed that smelled of her. Wolves stood watch with rifles loaded with tranquilizers, in case the beast overpowered the man.
