● Chapter Fifteen ● I sat on the couch near the front door, my suitcase leaning against the wall. I was waiting for Mr. Giordano to come to pick me up from my house so that we could head out to the airport. He still hasn't told me why he wanted to go a day earlier than everyone else, which I'm not going to complain. While they're sitting on a plane for twelve hours, I'd be exploring Europe for an extra day, so technically Mr. Giordano's idea is actually smart if you ask me. But at the same time what if people ask where we were and why we weren't on the plane with them?
