Chapter 20: Return to Florida Home sweet home yet again. How civilized, and comforting. There wasn’t a better place in the entire world to be, I conceived. Coffee in my favorite mug was fetched and consumed. I prepared a salad with a light dressing and ate it by the Gulf, enjoying the blue-green waves and soft wind. Thereafter, I showered, soaping my entire body from head to toe, exceeding my usual time under the warm spray. Then a novel by one of my favorite authors was enjoyed for an hour, which was followed by numerous hours of sleep. Not once did I toss and turn.
