chapter 16 Alpha Michael

Yesterday was a lot for everyone especially for Italia and her parents.

Jayden was mad that if he could have handled Ares with his own hands,Ruth could've found him dead.

Claire went to sleep with Italia at her bedroom because that kid was taken back to her last memories she didn't want to remember again.

Who could blame her?A mate is your other half,a person who has to love and protect you but instead Italia found a mate who is obsessed with another person and have no regrets on what he did to Italia.

Italia is a brave and strong girl even if it was hard for her,she stood tall and shared no tear while Ares said those ugly words towards her.

After Ruth came to take Ares that was then Italia broke down and cry so hard even if I can't feel her pain but I understood that rejection could kill you and luckily for her,she was 16 the bond wasn't that strong yet.

'Damn I admire her strength'

Today We are sitting in the conference room.We want to discuss the plan on how to end Ares,Jane and Ruth once and for all.

Honestly everyone was clueless,We didn't know when will be anothers Ruth attack and deep in our hearts we knew Ruth wouldn't let go without a fight.

While we were on our thoughts my phone rang,I fish it out I saw it was Alpha John.

"Hello Alpha John."

"Hello Alpha Michael,I don't know if it is a right time but I'm on my way to your pack with my family,so I don't know it is a right time or what?"

"No no it is a perfect time Alpha John, yesterday in my pack something happened and we are clueless so maybe we can help each other."

"Perfect then,I will be there within 10 minutes,bye for now.

The call ended.

I told everyone that Alpha John is on his way with his family.We decided we should wait for him at sitting room.

I could feel Claire excited and nervous at the same time through our bond.she will be meeting her younger brother and stepmom for the first time,She is afraid that will they accept her or treat her like a witch.

"Hey baby,try to relax for me,your emotions are all over, I don't know Laura but I don't think she will hate or dislike you." I said to her holding her hand.

She smiled at me and said "Damn bonds I forgot you could feel how I feel hahaha"

We all laughed with her.

While we were laughing,the pack guard came in with Alpha John, Laura and little Kevin.

Alpha John ran and hugged Claire tightly for seconds and withdraw,next was Laura hugging her with a bright smile in her face.

Little Kevin just stood there watching them and Alpha John looked at Kevin smiling and said "Come here little one,this is Claire I told you about,your big sister,come give her a hug for me."

Kevin ran to Claire, Claire lifted him up and hugged him.

After they withdraw a hug but still Claire holding him, Kevin said "Sister Claire I have heard a lot about you,Dad is happy to have you also me and my mom."

he said that with a cute smile that was adorable.

"Ahm Kevin I'm also happy to have you guys in the family,it means a lot to me that you came to see me."

Claire said that with teary eyes.

"Hey don't cry sister Claire,we won't leave you,we didn't know you before but now I promise we will never leave you."

He said that holding Claire's cheeks with his small hands that made us all look with affection.

Claire chuckled a little and said" Okay buddy I promise not to leave you too so lets sit down so we all catch up."

Kevin smiled and nodded.

'God that kids smile made me want to be a dad too'

"It is nice to finally meet you Claire, John told me a lot about you and what had happened,I know I can't take your mom's space in your heart but please if you want to talk with someone I'm just one call away okay."

She said that smiling so brightly it warm my heart to see even Laura accept Claire has her stepmom.

Claire had teary eyes again and said "Thank you so much Laura,it means a lot you accept me as your family and thank you all for the visit today." Laura nodded with a smile.

"Not to be offensive Laura,You are?"

"Oh Alpha Michael none taken,I'm Laura brown,I was orphan until I turned 18,My both parents were in a car accident and couldn't make it.Im half human and half vampire."

We all nodded.

"alright Laura,I'm sorry to hear about your parents."

She gave a small smile.

"No Alpha Michael it is alright,It is a long time ago.It still hurts but not like before."

I smiled hearing her say that.

"Alpha John,we are in a situation here,can I ask my servant to come and take Kevin to the kitchen and make him something?"

Kevin turned and look at his dad and said

"Come on dad,I'm a grown man now,I can handle any matters." He was making a puppy face.

We all bursted laughing.

"No little one,Not today but some day okay." Alpha John said.

He pouted and said "Okay fine."

A servant came and take Kevin to the kitchen.

Alpha John cleared his throat and said

"I'm all hears Alpha Michael,what is the problem now."

I looked around and started "Well Italia got her mate when she was 16 years old,his name is Ares Sky. Ares was 19 by that time,he mated with Italia that time and that i***t left Italia for our pack doctor Jane."

I didn't want to get in full details because I respected Italia.

Alpha John nodded

"Jayden was so mad yesterday when he found out that Italia was fooled by Ares and wanted to revenge her daughter.Guards went and search Ares and brought him in our dungeon."

Alpha John nodded again.

"Ares knew a lot about us,He insulted me Claire and Italia.While we were still interrogating him,out of nowhere,Ruth came and took him away into thin air."

Alpha John and Laura's faces was astonished.

"What ? ,Alpha Michael do you know that if Ruth can enter and exit like that you are all not safe at all,did she hurt anyone?."

He showed a little fear for us.

"No she didn't hurt anyone but she made it clear to Claire and us that the war is not over and Yes we are not safe anymore,I never thought I would need a witch to come and make protection barrier until yesterday."

Laura was shocked as for Alpha was pale.

"Dear,I think we should call our beta and tell him that we are going to stay with Alpha Michael in the pack until the war is over,Us all can take them down." Laura said.

Alpha John nodded"Yes dear you are correct,I can't protect my daughter from far but I can here when that b***h come."

We thank them both of their kindness,They called their beta and told him everything that is happening,he was shocked too and said he will take care of the pack and he will send the guards with extra clothes of them.

We were sitting on couches while servants came with our drinks and snacks,All of the sudden a black smoke appeared seconds and varnished.

When we look around no one was there until we notice the paper folded and written Claire on it.

Claire said she can open it so if it has any magic in it,it won't affect her.We all agreed.

Last time Ruth almost killed or turned me into her zombies so I didn't dare disagree with Claire.

She read it.

Honestly yesterday I was sent to rescue Ares but today I came and brought this letter myself.

Claire I gave you a chance to come with me and you disappointed me and turned your back at me.

Now I'm done playing a good mother to you and those fools.
