Chapter3

Isabella Hello LA! I just got here yesterday and made my hotel reservation through Alex. I was a little taken aback when I got to the motel. This hotel has five stars. The corporation probably won't gladly pay me back for this. But Alex stated he would cover the lodging costs. I was not allowed to crash at his apartment since he felt awful. The flat is available for use next week, but I rented it out. I must thus stay somewhere else this week. I'm going to crash at Alex's apartment first. Despite being together for over two years, we haven't shared a bed yet. That is, engage in s****l activity. I'm not sure if it's because I'm still a virgin or if I just follow my instincts and think I should hold off on trusting him completely. Not that I no longer believe in him. It's difficult for me to describe. My instinct just tells me not to, and I follow it. Fortunately, Alex is a considerate boyfriend. Perhaps he feels uncomfortable having me live in his apartment for a week without being able to touch me (not that he never did; we did kiss and make out a little). However, Alex and I didn't spend as much time together as other couples did because I was always staying by my mom's side. My second option is to stay at the apartment of Ruby Underhill, my closest friend. She is an actress and singer-songwriter who was just named one of the prettiest women in the world. Her albums consistently reached platinum, and her films were well-received at theaters. Her voice has been compared to that of an angel by others. It was more than simply the voice—it was her personality. She is still modest even though her name is well-known worldwide. She never diminishes you, and she never exhibits bitchy diva behavior. Sadly, though, she is spending a month on her musical tour. I'm confident that if I asked, she would agree and let me remain at her house for however long I want. When I contacted her yesterday to let her know that I was relocating to Los Angeles, she even became upset with me. She suggested that rather than finding an apartment on my own, I could remain with her. I'd like to remain with her. It reminds us of our past roommate experiences. However, I'd like to stand by myself. My moment to mature has come. Make an effort to live alone. I believe my motivation is just to give it a shot because I've lived with my mother my whole life. After all, she was too ill to do so. And I'm happy that I can be with her for as long as possible till she passes away. I know who's calling when my phone rings. "Hi Nancy," I say as I answer the phone. "Hey sweetie, how are you? All well? Do you require assistance?" I ask her too many questions, grinning. She does a great job as the grandmother. She must be utterly adored by her grandkids. "Yes, Nancy. I'm doing OK. Alex got me a great deal on a motel. Since I can remain at his house, I suppose he felt awful. "That's the least he can do for you, Izzy." Why did her voice sound colder to me? "Well, what are you doing at this moment? You are free on Saturday, right? Her tone returns to its usual one. Perhaps that's simply something I imagined. "I dunno, um. I guess just strolling around. Visit the Remington headquarters to find out how long it takes me to get to work on time and to see the area where I operate." "You work so well, that's for sure. Your supervisor will adore you." After a brief conversation, I said farewell to Nancy.. Tell her not to be concerned about me. I head directly to the valet station when I get to the lobby. My buddy Andreas Roderick informed me that his driver had brought a car for me and left it with the valet service. One of my closest pals is Andreas, orDrew,as we nicknamed him. We shared a home five years ago with Ruby. Jase, myself, Drew, and Tony. However, we'll discuss that in a different tale. I'm too eager to see LA for the time being. I haven't been to this beautiful city in a long time! A Maserati in silver pulled up in front of the lobby. All heads turn to look at the automobile. A few of them even slobber. The valet addressesme. "Ma'am." That is Drew's automobile, Irealized. He's a billionaire, did I mention that? And occasionally, it doesn't bother him that I prefer not to use anything ostentatious. as of right now! I climb inside the vehicle. It's a good vehicle. A Maserati is a safe choice, isn't it? Sitting in this automobile is nothing new for me. I occasionally travelled to Los Angeles to see Alex and spent time with Tony, Drew, and Ruby. And because I don't have a car and they don't like Alex, they alternate picking me up. I thus did not invite Alex to come along. When it is time for me to spend time with my best buddy, Alex cheerfully bids me"goodbye." He's simply not the clinging kind of lover, and I understand that he feels awkward with my wealthy friends. I called Andrew after pairing my phone with Bluetooth. "How's the car?" When Andrew answers the phone, he remarks in jest. "Haha, very well, mister," I remarked playfully. "Why did your driver give me your Maserati?" "Oh, you prefer Aston Martin?" He laughs. "Nah! Like,a Honda or something cheaper, I'm not sure." Indifferently, "Because I don't have one," he replies."Yeah,h right, stupid me." I roll my eyes, hoping he won't notice. He chuckles. "Hi! Yes, we felt horrible! Why are you coming to Los Angeles when Ruby is on tour and Tony and I have to be at the conference outside of the United States? The least I could have done to greet you is this."
