I said that as I sat at my desk pouring over the materials that I was given to prepare for the event of that memory quiz I had signed up for. Although despite how well I regarded my memory this was a bit too much as I struggled to even get through half of it. I was contemplating whether I should even continue to memorise this and put myself through such t*****e.
However, I quickly snapped out of it and gave myself a quick slap on the wrist, and got back to memorising. About halfway through the material, my phone began to ring by my bedside as I walked over to pick it up, curious as to who would call me so late at night.
