Gunnar was about to move when I stopped him with my hand and forced a smile on my face. I turned slowly to the guard and shook my head like he had just made the biggest mistake of his life.
I leaned a little closer to him and lowered my voice so it sounded dangerous and calm at the same time.
“If I report this to Laden because of your insults on a personal supervision he sent us to do, I hope you will like the punishment that will follow after,” I said to him, my voice a little threatening.
The effect was instant.
