Matthew fastened the baldric of his sword on his waist and tightened the straps of his gauntlets. Then he tugged his jacket as if feeling cool doing it.
“You’re good to go?” Layla asked.
“Yup.” Matthew answered while he put on his backpack.
“Did you tell them yet?”
Matthew paused for a moment. “Well yes, but actually no. I left a note for them though.”
“Fair enough. Anything else you need before going? You could check out my shop for anything, you know?”
“Haha thanks, but no I don’t think I need anything else. I’m just gonna go pick up my sword and head straight to the quest point.”
“Alright, good luck then and come back intact at least.”
“Sure, I’ll do my best! I’ll be going now, bye!” Matthew said lastly before he went out the door and waved Layla goodbye.
