Rika soaked a piece of cloth and wringed it so it’s only moist, not wet. Then she placed the cloth on Rose’s forehead. Rose was breathing quite heavily and mist came out of her mouth since the autumn air was a bit colder today.
After changing the cloth, Rika carried out the basin of water she used out of the room. Matthew, who was standing by the door, made way for her before he walked closer to the bed.
Cecilia was sitting on a chair beside the bed and Yuki was standing in front of it. Matthew stood beside Yuki.
“How is she?” He asked.
“She’s been having a fever since last night. A bad one. The doctor said it’s not a disease. She just pushed herself, that’s all. She’ll be fine after some rest.”
“Is that so…” Matthew sadly looked at Rose who seemed to be suffering through the fever. “
