The Cursed Girl

Chapter 7

Gwen

We were in the Leandro's room and I found that everything was in there place except the food plate which was not there. I still can feel his presence inside this room and could smell him. It is really hard for me to believe that he had left this world yesterday. 

"Tsetan are you sure about that?"

"I am sure. You only think, how can a healthy person die naturally."

"But death can come anytime and without knocking on the door." 

"I agree but sometime these naturally occurring death are customized." Tsetan was so much confident about this case and now this also made me believe that he must have been killed.

"But..."

"Aunt there is no more but now. Please go outside and let me see how could someone poison the food. By the way was Leandro over here only when you have give him the food?" 

"No, he was talking to someone and I did felt as if someone one there but when I looked around the room, no one there."

"I believe that there was no ghost. That person must have taken this opportunity to poison his food. Aunt you please wait outside and when we will be done I will call you." I could see in her eyes that she wanted to help us but she couldn't because Tsetan wasn't letting her to do anything. After she was gone, Tsetan looked at me.

"We have to find the clue soon." I nodded and we both started to do our work and I went towards the large window through which the secreny is beautiful and anyone would like to stand over here and enjoy the view. Leandro generally let the window open except on the rainy day or cold days and I am aware that he must have close the window yesterday morning because yesterday morning was filled with cold. Aunt and uncle doesn't want to waste the time that is why they had decided to hurry the funeral process. I opened the window and let the breeze come inside and I felt something soft against the coldness of the metal and I looked down and found a dress piece which was lace. It was also of white color and than my eyes went down and found some mud over there ground and then I also see something shining in the dark and I went towards there and that  thing was shining more and I extended my hand to grab it and when I grabbed it I felt as if it was a pendent and I pulled it out and it was indeed a pendent and a very familiar pendent and it was also white just like the dress. I already have three clues and this all indicates that someone was there in this room and that was girl.

"Tsetan." I called out for him and he immediately came towards me.  

"What happened Gwen?"

"See this I have find the dress piece and pendent and near the window there is mud. This means someone was here and that was probably a girl." He took the things from me and he went towards the window and I looked at him.

"The mud is dry. That means the person who had come must have the mud in her foot but if she has mud that means that there was mud puddle somewhere far from here because here only one mud is present." He said.

"But yesterday or day before yesterday rain happened until yesterday afternoon and on Leandro's funeral." 

"Hmm...why no one had seen these things?" 

"The piece was attached to the hook present on the window and the pendent was behind this furniture and mud puddle is between them and Leandro body was over there. I guess in rush no one had really noticed this." He didn't say anything 

"Do you think that you have seen this pendent before?'

"I am having a feeling that I had saw this before but everything is so much blur for me to remember." 

"No problem." He said and started with his search and something strike me. But I have confirm this first. I went outside and looked for Tina and found her sitting in the living room and I went towards her.

"Tina can I ask you something?"

"Yes, what happened?"

"Was the window closed when you deliver the food to Leandro?" And she thought for a while and she nodded.

"Yeah the window was closed as you know when the weather is cool he prefer to close his window but when I went to look for him that time the window was open not wide but ajar only. I thought that he must have feeling hot that is why he had opened it." 

"No Tina he must haven't opened the because he was feeling hot but someone had ran away from there when he was killed." Her eyes widen and she stood up.

"Means that someone was there when he was eating inside." I nodded and her eyes filled up.

"Who must have killed him? He doesn't even has any enemy." 

"I am well aware about this but that person is a woman as we have found some evidence." I said and she looked at me and that time Tsetan also come upon and I took the pendent from him and make it show to Tina.

"This type of design is very old and no one really use this now." This design is very old and no one would use it then how come this was present in his room?

"Do you know about this design more?" Tsetan asked her and she nodded.

"This design was so much popular in 1990s and many people dream to have this as this used to have rare diamonds and very few people were able to afford it and it's production was also very low but till it was 2000 this design automatically dropped down and I think there supply was also dropped and after that no one really show interest and now they are made on the demand only as the diamonds used in this are very expensive." Then she handed me and I handed it to Tsetan. I felt a pull and I was turned and found Aria who was fuming in the anger and my eyes widen.

"Mom why this girl is in this house?" She said in the bitter voice. She was looking at me only.

"I was..." She cut me off.

"No one had asked you, so I prefer that you keep your mouth shut."

"She had come to investigate about Leandro;s case as we had come to know that someone had killed your brother." 

"Mom who must have killed him. She is the one who had killed her. Mom you are well aware about her history and I guess it was good that my brother died that marrying a curse." I don't know what I should say and that is why I decided to remain silent.

"Aria." Tina said 

"Ms. Nelson I would prefer you talk with my friend with respect." I heard Tsetan voice. She grabbed my elbow.

"You have find another friend. Didn't you told him about your tragic story and why people call you curse." 

"Enough is Enough." Tsetan said and he took away Aria arms and stand between her and me."You are accusing her for something she didn't do. How do you know that she is the one who had killed your brother."

"The person whose mother died while giving birth and whose father also left soon and now my brother who does really want to be with her that is why everyone choose death over her." Her every words were striking my heart.

"I believe that you are believing on the words which other say. I never really thought that you will grow up into this Aria Nelson. I had always thought that you will be having broad thinking but who knew that you will also become the victim of narrow mindedness and now I promise that I will not leave the place until I prove that Gwen is not curse." Aria looked at Tsetan confusedly.

"Who are you and how do you know me?" Tsetan smiled and looked at Aria.

"I am Tsetan Cheshire and I guess this is enough for you to recognize me."Her eyes widen and Tsetan took my wrist and dragged me out of the house and I looked back at the house and Tina was having guilt in her eyes.

"Don't need to look back. Look forward because everyone will try to pull you down but now I am over here and I will bring you out of that problem which is created because of a misunderstanding." I don't know why he is helping me so much and here I am unable get out from my own problem and I hope that I could come out of it as soon as possible.
