By midday, Nimbus had become everyone's problem. The young dragon followed Lexi through three courtyards, two corridors, a stairwell, and one particularly unfortunate encounter involving a messenger and a tray of tea. None of it appeared intentional. Nimbus simply lacked any understanding that creatures smaller than himself occasionally needed space to move around him. The messenger recovered quickly enough, though the same could not be said for the tea, which ended its journey across the flagstones in a steaming puddle.
