She reflected on her position as she inched along the walls. Isolated in the middle of Malawi, such choices as she had all seemed to have a violent ending. Still she had been born into violence and had learned how to deal with it. She shivered and held her arms across her chest, the water had reached her ankles now and it was still rising. She saw a small c***k in the wooden slats of the walls and peered through it at what she assumed was Lake Malawi. With a start she realised that the water wasn’t rising, she was held in a wooden cage that was gradually sinking beneath the surface of the lake! It was a weird and disconcerting sensation.
