“SO WHERE TO NOW?” DUNCAN asked, as we left Maximus’s office and began walking back toward the elevator.
“We’re going to hang out in the casino downstairs,” Ethan replied.
“For what?” I asked, stopping abruptly.
“Well, let’s put it this way. We’re basically on a wild goose chase, trying to locate your family. We could spend all night moving from hotel to hotel, without any luck in Vegas.”
“Yeah, but it’s something,” I said. “Sitting around here isn’t going to help. We’ve already established they’re not even in this hotel.”
