Trumpets boomed as they entered through the gates, and the demons going about their daily routines stopped and bowed their heads. Children cheered, calling out to Rav, and hails rang in the name of King Zārok. Black banners hung from the gates and the walls of the enclosed kingdom, with houses of more than two stories lining the streets. Demons looked over their balconies, which were decorated with small pots of plants and flowers.
