The Allied Forces

Inside the grand hall of the Church. Higher-ups from other kingdoms gathered via a magic mirror to discuss the unforeseen worst event that happened in the Holy Land. The participants are:

Incredal Kingdom: Prince Timothy Bermund. 

Eterean Kingdom: Duchess Edith Crownfold. 

Luweth Kingdom: Prince Charles Luweth.

Regirenth Empire: Princess Aurora Carmine.

Holy City: Pope Heather Light.

In a round table, the magic mirror projects the images of different parties. Heather looked around the table and began speaking.

"My Holy City, my church was attacked by some explosive magic! It deliberately hits all our strategic point! Our military, food supply, roads, bridges are all destroyed!" Heather said looking at the participants doubtful.

"Let me stop you right there!" Timothy interjected. "We already denied any involvement of the attack and you think that one of us is sane that we will attack your land? How presumptuous."

"Why are pointing fingers at each other?" Edith said. "In this time, we must find out the perpetrator of this cowardice attack. First, we do not have any capabilities of that scale of magic where we can destroy your precious land at such distance. Maybe this is a punishment by God for summoning the last trump card of humanity! You know what I am talking about."

"Then if it’s not us then who the hell attack the holy land? Maybe it is the Regirenth Empire. They are the only ones capable of such magic. They have heavenly spears and arrows that can hit the target over a long distance. Say, Princess. Why are you silent all this time?" Charles said accusing Aurora.

"Hmph. How did you think that we are responsible hmm? You stupid ants! That is why you are the lowest since you are stupid and so are your constituents. You can't even deduce the information that we have here." Aurora smirked.

"What the f**k did you just said?!" Charles replied with a furious tone.

"Let me do this in my way," Aurora said.

"So, pope you said that all your strategic points such as military bases, agricultural fields. roads, bridges were destroyed, right? That kind of strategic attack is meant to cripple any country. Without soldiers you are vulnerable to outside attack, without the field there would be no food for you, without roads you cannot trade and without the bridges, you are unable to cross the great river. In short, you are isolated.

Maybe for two or three weeks, your country will fall due to the economy, and rebellion will be expected. But what I am curious about is why you are the only one who has been attacked? We have a pact and in article 5 of our charter. If one country were attacked by external forces the rest will retaliate. Attacking one of us is equal to the declaration of war on the continent. Who is on his right mind to attack you or us?" Aurora concluded.

"Good point princess but according to Heather. One of his subordinates released the seal of the sacred beast. And it was twelve days ago" Charles said.

"What are you trying to say, Charles?" Aurora looked at his projected image.

"Maybe those beasts attacked something. Something that should not be angered."

"Are you stupid? Are you saying that demons did this?! They are supposed to reincarnate in seven years! are you saying that they are awake?" Timothy butted in the conversation having chances of speaking up he grab it.

"There's only one way to find out," Aurora said with a frowned face looking at someone.

"Heather! Why is one of your subordinates summoned the beast? Is there something that you are hiding from us? Even if there is a demon you must reach our consensus. That kind of behavior violated the flow of information."

"Also" Aurora was given a parchment by one of her maids. "According to our reports priest, Mayne was in the port of Hargus thirteen days ago. Some of the witnesses state that they rented a fleet and Bearing was the captain. Is there any sort of operation that you conducted without telling us?"

After Aurora finishes her report. All of them looked towards Heather angrily.

The atmosphere becomes tense as Heather's sweat began falling from his forehead. The information attained by Aurora makes him uncomfortable. He looked to all of them with resolve. He stood to his sit and began lowering his head.

"I'm sorry for keeping this to you! I know that I become selfish and I didn't share this information to all of you"

"So, can you tell us what the operation is all about?" Aurora asked.

"Of course, six months ago the holy orb detected a huge magical spike in the western sea. To find out what was happening there I sent Mayne to do an expedition. There is an enormous magical power detected and we are driven to find out what it is."

"Okay, so why did Mayne have the holy staff that is supposed to be in your care?"

"The holy staff was able to appraise the magic. I have figured that it would be best to bring it there. Of course, I did not expect that Mayne will unleash the beast. There is 0% chance that he would summon them, but we don't know why." Heather said trying to convince them.

The meeting kept on. In the Regirenth Empire Palace. Aurora was in the hall talking to the foreign higher-ups. She heard a rough footstep in the hallway and got disturbed. The door opened with a man who was panting.

"Hold on for a second" Aurora said to the meeting. "Why are you here? We are having a meeting about the attack that happened in the holy city, Hermes..."

"I'm sorry for disturbing you but we have an emergency!" The messenger said.

"Wha-What is it?" Aurora's attention is attracted by the messenger.

"Enemy movements are detected through the southern part of Incredal Kingdom! Their number is around a thousand!"

"WHAAAAAAAAT!" Aurora said in a loud tone. The participants in the meeting were shocked at the voice of Aurora.

"What is it?" Heather asked but Aurora did not mind him.

"Who are they?" Aurora asked the messenger.

"I don't know but they have iron carriage moving towards the Incredal Kingdom. Their number is huge, and we expect that they are invading the Kingdom..."

While the messenger was giving his report, another messenger comes up.

"Emergency!" The messenger kneeled to the princess.

"Wha-What is it?" Aurora is perplexed.

"Unknown ships fleet are sighted in Incredal waters! They are made from iron!"

"Whaaaaat?! What the f**k is happening?! Is someone attacking us?" Aurora shouted to them.

"We don't know your highness we are gathering information as we speak. The war council wants to increase battle awareness! The King was being informed as we speak."

While the messengers were reporting to her she realized something.

"Is the attack of the church is connected to this? Iron ships and unknown cavalry. Possibly an invasion?!"

She then averted her attention to the meeting.

"I am getting a report that unknown forces are spotted in Incredal territory! I think it's connected to the attack that happened on the Church!"

"WHAAAAAAT?!" Timothy said.

"Anyway, just get your forces ready! We must be preparing ourselves!"

"We must invoke article five! If this truly an enemy who attacks the church. Then we will be affected as well."

Just as when the meeting went into disarray multiples messengers interrupted their meeting. Not only the Aurora but all of them receive a disturbing report.

"Prince Charles! Enemy spotted east of Kiowa plains!"

"Duchess Edith! We spotted unknown ships on Terria strait! The reports state that the ships are made of metal and it's big as an island!"

"Princess! Enemy ships spotted in Porta Gulf! According to watchmen posted their big iron ships are headed to our port!"

"Whaaaaaaaaaat?!" All of them shouted in unison to their messengers.

Aurora then analyzes the situation. Basing on the reports of the messengers of each respective country all essential roads and routes are blocked by an unknown enemy. The Kiowa plains are where most common trade route and if this is being blocked then imports from the three kingdoms will not arrive at Luweth kingdom. Terria strait is where most of the merchant ships passed and lastly the Porta gulf the valuable assets from the Regirenth Empire where important trades are being made. If those locations are being occupied by enemy forces, then the five countries will suffer economic collapse. But she found something odd. How did the enemy find out their important route’s location? The map was inaccurate and rely mostly on travelers. And most importantly who are they? They are just marching towards their territory. If this is the one who attacks the church, then why are they being attacked? Is there a spy among their countries? Questions are flooding Aurora's mind, but she cannot lose herself here. As one of the strongest countries, she cannot lose her pride and the might of the Empire.

"All of you scramble your forces! we will fight off this invader! Those who dare to oppose us will meet their demise!"

"How many troops do you all have?" Aurora asked them individually.

"I have two million active troops and 500,000 reserve personnel. We have three thousand warships and 5,000 wyverns ready to go."

"I have 800,000 active troops and 200,000 reserve personnel. We have 2,300 warships and 2,500 wyverns ready for tasking."

"I have 500,000 active troops and 0 reserve personnel. I will issue mandatory military training to all my capable citizens. We have 1,000 warships and 2,000 wyverns."

"Due to the attack of an unknown enemy my forces are reduced to 20,000 church holy knights. We only have 100 warships and no air force."

"Okay, my Empire has four million active troops with 10,000 warships and 15,000 wyverns. Combining our forces, we will have overwhelming strength. For now, we will attack the enemy who is blocking our routes. Starting from the Porta plains. Timothy, you are to defend yourselves and hold them if you can. I will send additional troops to your location."

"I understand Princess!".

Meanwhile in command ops General Arthur Bridge one of the joint chiefs of staff laid off his plan to the president and the joint chiefs.

"The first second third and fourth armored division and first and third mechanized division will reach Kunami fortress in the southern part of the Incredal Kingdom in 1300 hrs. The vegetation there is like desserts and enemy contact is imminent. The airborne division will fly through the night to three military bases of the Regirenth Empire reducing their troops. When we succeed in the operation, those bases will be our forward operating bases.

"Third, Fourth, and Fifth carrier strike group are sailing towards the Terria strait and reclaiming their port. Once we captured the port then we will immediately build naval bases and airfields to support ground troops. Moving to Luweth is nearer to the Hermes our first to fifth infantry division will storm them. Lastly, the Klowa plains have three armored divisions and two mechanized divisions. Since we issued Operation Desert Storm all the troops will be ready in twenty-two hours according to schedule. Most of our cargo planes leave the airbases on their way to their designated landing sites. They will be debriefed by their commands." The General concluded the report.

"But why our forces are already on the location General?"

"First we are just saber-rattling when all of the troops arrived in 22 hours then they will be commenced and start moving. And if the opposing forces attack then according to the rules of engagement, we will return fire."

"They have wyverns, right? Can those creatures hinder our air forces?"

"According to our information regarding them, their top speed is 250 kilometers per hour their speed can be compared to apache helicopters but have no chance of keeping up to our fighter aircraft."

"I see, I'm glad. By the way how many troops are there in division general? Sorry, I'm new to this."

"It’s okay sir. On each armored division, we have 250 battle tanks most of them are our battle tanks the M1A2C Abrams tank, and 300 M1 Bradley Fighting Vehicles. And since we have many divisions taking this operation, we assigned them to a corps division where two or three or more combined divisions are combined."

"In this world those forces are overkill. And mind that this world is in middle age era where typically they will defend themselves using swords and arrows. I hope using show of force can make them surrender"

"I agree Mr. President."

"Speaking of that, I want to conduct diplomatic contact with those four countries. And if they did not agree to our terms and condition then we have no choice but to fight them as well. Remember our only goal is to destroy the Church. This is personal to me and all of us. Secretary Andrew and our diplomats will arrange a meeting today. Andrew on the other hand will contact their so-called strongest kingdom. The Regirenth Empire.

One hour later and twenty hours until the attack. Five B-1 Lancer flew through the Luweth, Regirenth, Incredal, and Eterean capital airspaces carrying PDU-5B dispenser units containing leaflets.

Twenty PDU-5B dispenser units are being dropped on B-1 Lancer the citizens of each country saw a metal tube dropping on their location and suddenly the PDU-5B dispenser exploded into 500,000 leaflets.
