CHAPTER FOUR

764 Words
Damien could not concentrate as he drove home. His mind was fixated on the lady he had met who had accused for something he was not. All men are the same? Damien scoffed with slight anger. He had just wanted to help her, not scare her into thinking he was a pervert or just wanted to have a taste of her when he could have lots of girls at his disposal at any time. Damien sighed as he went through everything that had happened. Firstly, she had rejected his help, that was the first time he would be experiencing that, but he was not going to dwell on it yet. Secondly, when he first saw her, he felt something sparked within him. He had seen a glint of fire glowing in her when he set his eyes on her and even when she talked to him, her words were emotion filled. Now as he was seated in his vehicle, Damien was regretting leaving her out in the cold. Whatever had happened to her did not call for her to be abandoned in the street awaiting a bus he was certain would not come till the next day. However, she had refused his help and he had left, so that was actually not his business anymore. He had other things to face including the threat from his father to either marry Camille or give up his position. He knew neither would happen and that was why he needed another alternative. He had to set out a plan that would stop his father from pressuring him and one that would still keep him in charge of his life and business. While he was still contemplating on the issue, his thoughts drifted to an idea, a strange one. If there was one thing Damien has learnt as a business man and the CEO of an empire, it was how to leverage the weak for his profit. He only needed someone weak, a person who was stranded with no way out. At that moment it struck him. The lady at the bus stand was what he really needed! What if she was the way out? After all, she had captured his attention at first instance and now it was on his part to use her to his own advantage. Damien smirked. The perfect plan was ready. With that, he swerved the vehicle and began to drive back. *** Aria knew she was stranded with no help when those men began approaching her. Aria's body shivered as they got close to her. One of the men with a cap on, brushed his fingers on her neck, tracing it down to her breasts. “I can warm you up, you know.” he said and the two burst out laughing. “Don't you dare touch me!” Aria blurted out amidst her fear. “Wow, the b***h got some nerve,” the second man said as he grabbed her waist and plunged her forward towards him, “And you know what turns me on? A feisty bitch.” he said and pulled one strap of her gown off her shoulder, exposing her bra. Meanwhile, Aria fought to break free from these men's clutches, but she couldn't. In her mind she cussed Lucas and the day she met him for putting her in this situation. She also blamed herself for not allowing herself to be helped. Maybe if she had agreed, she wouldn't be in such a situation. As Aria was trying to free herself, the men's hold on her was too strong for her to fight against. The worst she could do was let these men take advantage of her. If only someone could appear to help her out, she would be really grateful. Before she could resist anymore, one of the men pinned her to the wall and the other covered her nose with a handkerchief. Aria struggled to breath, but she could not. At that moment, her body began to grow weak and she felt her eyes spinning. She had been drugged! At that moment she saw him. The same man she had seen earlier, the same one who had offered to help her. He was here again and Aria wondered if he had really come back because of her or was he there to enjoy the scene. Well, the look in his eyes told her the latter. A tear dropped from her eyes as she concluded that all men were really the same. Before she could retaliate any further, her eyes closed shut and she lost consciousness.
