Chapter 6
Jenna groaned as something jolted her from unconsciousness. She was only vaguely awake, but enough to feel that everything hurt!
“She’s waking up,” said a voice.
She thought about opening her eyes to try and see who it was, but that seemed like so much effort right then.
“She can’t be!”
“She is! Look!”
“Damn it! Stop here for a moment. I’ll increase the dose of sedative.”
“Jenna… Jenna, I don’t know if you can understand me, but if you can then don’t worry.”
