Chapter 8 Jenna shifted uncomfortably in the narrow pod, fighting to keep her breathing calm as she lay in the darkness. The sides were pressing against her arms and she knew there were only a few centimetres of clearance above her face. She wasn’t claustrophobic but even so it was hard to keep her heart from racing. This was definitely not high on her list of things to ever try, but desperate times called for desperate measures. She was stuffed into a box that would normally be used to transport those who wouldn’t object to the cramped conditions. Or object to anything ever again.
