Once Serena's wolf form finally made it to the border of the Royal Pack and Alaria, she shifted back and dressed. The mask was lying on the ground, and Serena knew that without it, Ravenna could be picked out as a shifter royal. So she grabbed the mask, crammed it into her pocket, and began walking through the woods toward the main town.
I hope I make it in time.
She thought to herself; she knew Ravenna needed this mask. If she were caught as a werewolf in Alaria, she would be arrested and possibly executed. "Girl, you are going to owe me big after this." She said out loud as she rolled her eyes.
Serena continued through the woods. The sounds of nature continued to do their part to help distract her from the panic and her fast-beating heart. She knew that she didn't belong here either,
