Once they finally returned to the palace, Ravenna headed upstairs and jumped into the shower. She scrubbed herself everywhere to wash all the blood and dirt off her little scuffle. Once she felt clean, she left the shower dressed in a pair of black leggings and an oversized white T-shirt. She went to the bathroom, entered her bedroom to grab some socks, and noticed Serena sitting on her bed waiting for her.
"Can I help you?" Ravenna snidely asked as she walked over to her dresser, opened her sock drawer, and grabbed a pair of fluffy white socks. She closed the drawer and sat in a nearby chair to put them on.
"We need to talk," Serena ordered in a tone that left no room for debate.
"Can it wait? With Dad gone, David is in charge, and I need to update him on what happened at Blue Lake." R
