The darkness slowly vanished as the sun rose higher in the sky. The rays of the morning sun peeked through the curtains onto Ravenna's face. Ravenna groaned; starting the day was not something she was ready to do. However, the nonstop pondering of the situation with her mate and the sudden turn it took filled her night with restless sleep.
