Jason Freeman sat in a layby, pondering his actions. Going over what he had done in his head. He had heard on the radio about what had happened at Bill’s place, but he felt no remorse for the man; Bill had been an asshole. Jason had suspected what had been going on with Bill and his wife for a few weeks now. He had often wondered why he and Abby hadn’t seen that side of the family for a while; Ann and Becky had been dead, and Bill was banging Abby. That indeed could have been an impressive dinner party conversation if it was happening to someone else. Jason gripped the steering wheel and rocked backwards and forwards while he wept.
