Chapter Two - The Birth of The Prophecy

It was a calm night as the autumn winds blow through the trees and, the stars shine brightly in the dark sky above. It was so quiet outside you can hear ever blade of grass gently slap against the other. You could hear the crickets chirping in the night. It was beautiful. Then out of nowhere, a storm came filing the night sky with dark clouds and lightening striking. As if the gods and goddesses were having a pissing match. But what no one knew was that this night was even more special than anyone could have ever known. The storm lasted for about 3 hours. Constant lightning strikes. Howling winds. It was a hurricane. The worst hurricane that Whetstone Valley had ever endured since it was founded centuries ago. They named it Hurricane Ashleigh Karissa. They chose the name Ashleigh Karissa after the only little baby girls born during the hurricane Ashleigh Nikol Whetstone and Karissa Rose Whetstone. The twins of Edward and Nikki Whetstone.

Nikki' s family and Edward's family are descendants of the eight founding mothers of Whetstone Valley. Over the last four almost five centuries the founding families had split between the Whetstones and the Browns a little over two-hundred years ago there was a feud between The Whetstone Family and The Browns Family. The Whetstone Family is descendants of four of the founding mothers of Whetstone Valley. LuCretia Whetstone, Mary Applestein, Connie Rhodes and, Louise Rhodenizer. The Brown Family is descendant of the other four of the founding mothers of Whetstone Valley. Matilda Brown, Judith Sidor, Alexandra Holbrooke and, Lilith Skelley. The feud between the Whetstones and the Browns started because the browns thought they should be the towns leader. Because their ancestors were in fact half of the founding mothers just like the whetstones. The whetstone family thought that the browns and whetstones should lead the town together the browns refused they wanted to lead on their own. But the whetstones had been the leaders for centuries The Whetstone Family was chosen to lead by the other founding families. So, naturally they refused to hand the leadership of Whetstone Valley over to The Browns Family. After all the towns name is Whetstone Valley not Browns Valley. The feud ended when no one could even remember why the feud started to begin with. Whetstone Valley has been electing a mayor for the last hundred years.

The final merge has been completed. That was prophesied by the founding mother LuCretia Delilah Whetstone 470 years ago. Only a few knew about this prophecy. Only no one believed it. They knew magic is real obviously because they have it only the women do. The birth of Ashleigh and Karissa should have been proof enough but it was not.
