The sound of knocking on the door startled the two girls who were sleeping soundly next to each other. They groggily woke up, fumbling to turn on the lamp on the bedside table, then looked at each other in confusion.
"Who's knocking at the door at this hour?"
"Yeah, isn't it almost two in the morning?"
"I'll go check." Anchisa got up to turn on the light switch and reached for the door, but before she could open it, someone forcefully pushed it open, causing her to stumble backward.
