I hope the sun is shining on you with butterflies and rainbows because today is a good day to be alive." Both Jake and Kane looked so confused about Kage's chipper attitude. I couldn't help but laugh. "Ok Kage, my name is Willow and this is my land, so if you want to stay, I need you to answer my questions. OK first. Is there anyone waiting for you to come back? Is anyone coming to look for you?" Kage looked at me trying to figure out if he could trust me or not. Kage sighed and then said "it was just S**t head and me but if you are willing to let me stay i need to go and get my mate. He's in a safe place. I kept him secret from my dad because he would have killed him just because he's a guy and mated to me dad probably would have killed me because, in his words, Gay people are a defect that need to be eradicated. Jake, do you remember Samantha " Jake slowly nodded his head a worried expression on his face. "Well, on her 18th birthday she found her mate. It was Darla, dad was so pissed that he had the guards take both of them to the cells and let the unmated males in the pack take what they wanted from them. They were down there for 3 months before dad had them publicly executed as a way to tell the pack that its not ok to be gay. After that pack members started leaving in the middle of the night it was about 7 months after the first pack member left that Dad finally realized more than half the pack was gone. Even Dad's beta. Humphrey's stopped reporting everything to Dad started helping people leave behind Dad's back when dad trying to do something about it the outbreak happened that's also when he found out about our mom and her Rouge lover i cant say that i didn't love watching that b***h get what was coming to her." I looked to Jake who looked like he was going to be sick i have a feeling that those two girls meant something to him and seeing the devastated looks on the other guys faces I was right I stepped up gesturing for Kage to come in when he stepped inside I quickly closed the door locking it when I turned back to everyone they were having a hushed conversation I quietly headed back to the house I wanted to give them some privacy when I got back to the house Harper and Kane were sitting on the front porch Kane still looked bad but his color was coming back when Harper saw me she asked "Whats going on when i got out of the shower everyone was gone" I looked at Kane contemplating on weather i should tell him about his dad and brother or should i wait for the others. I decided to tell him so that way he has a few minutes to process what has happened.

"We had some visitors at the front gate and we had to take care of it im sorry to say this but it was your dad and brother Kane" I saw fear and panic flash in his eyes. I quickly raised my had and said. " Before you start to freak out let me say that i had to kill your father and your brother started to do a happy dance when he was dead it was quite entertaining but i think you three need to sit down and have a chat and get to know your brothers the real them and they get to know the real you" i patted his shoulder as i walked to my room i slipped off my boots and my shorts then grabbing my cargo pants and putting it on sitting down on the edge of the bed to put my boots back on Harper walked in to the room leaning on the door jamb. "What are you doing Will do you need help?" I looked at Harper and gave her a small smile. " I'm about to go clean up the blood Alpha's brain off the ground and my gate why you wanna come?" I said teasingly she giggled "Sure I need something to do before I go crazy I'm still pumped up with adrenaline so yeah on and by the way you go some better clothes then this T-shirt and sweat pants with fuzzy slippers?" She giggled I laughed then walked over to my dresser and pulled out some skinny jeans and a black long sleeve shirt hanging them to her I walked to my closet and pulled out my other pair of doc martens then setting them in front of her I grabbed my gun putting it in my holster by the time I was done equipping my knifes Harper was ready to go Harper walked over to where Kane was sitting and gave him a kiss telling him what we are going to be doing I can see that Kane doesn't want Harper to go but reluctantly agrees.

I can't say that it doesn't scare the s**t out of me that my mate and my brother are near each other Kage has always been Dad favorite he held the same kind of sadistic side as the old man but I can say he was on my side more than anyone like when Dad found out that I was dating an Omega he told Dad that I was practicing for my mate leaving out the part where Anna and myself thought that we were mates on my 18th birthday I went looking for her when I found her I was heartbroken that she wasn't my mate and just a few days later she turned 18 a visiting Alpha was there and was her mate I was sad but also happy for her that she would be able to have a better life and not have to endure my fathers wrath normally if it was a ranked pack member of our pack father would have had them reject their mate then kill the lower ranking mate. he would say just to make sure the scum doesn't get another ranked to mate. to him only top members should be with top members. I guess I should give my brother a chance for Willow she is the one who is taking us in after all.
