Coming down the stairs, I found Jake pacing back and forth with a troubled look on his face. "Hey, it's going to be OK, we are going to treat their wounds, then we will Figure out if we can trust them once they're healed a little bit and can answer some questions we can go from there you never know he may still be the kind boy that had to put up a mean facade but if they seem to be a threat to us then we will kick them out OK please just have faith that we will get through this" Grabbing Jake's hand we walk into the living room where they have Kane laying on the couch "Okay Henry I need you to run to the basement and get me medical supplies there should be a big medical bag that you would normally see in an ambulance I need you to get me that and grab two or three suture kits some extra gloves and then go to the little mini fridge that's on the same aisle that all the medical supplies is on And I need you to grab a broad spectrum antibiotic can you do that for me "Henry smiles down at me and walks towards the kitchen I then turn to Theo looking him in his eyes and say "Okay Theo I need you to go to the kitchen and grab the biggest pot you can find there should be a giant pot in the cupboard I need you to fill it with water and boil it also I need you to go to the linen closet and in the bottom of the linen closet is a basket that has a bunch of small towels I need you to grab that entire basket and bring it here can, you do that "Theo nodded his head walking into the kitchen I walk up to Kai and whisper "Kai I need you to stand guard I may know Harper, but I don't know her that well, and I don't know anything about will here so I need you to stand guard make sure to keep the pistol on you but out of sight OK" walking back over to where Kane is laying I kneel down and start to look at the Wounds I can see most of them are pretty good cuts but not deep enough to need sutures maybe some butterfly bandages a few seconds later Henry walks back into the living room carrying the big bag and the other things that I asked him to grab he sets him down on the table next to me and the bag on the floor next to me not even two minutes later Theo comes back with the big pot of boiling water then walks back into the kitchen and comes back out with the laundry basket full of small towels and sets them all next to me opening the medical bag and pulling out the scissors I start to lean over to cut Kane's shirt open when he grabs my wrist "What the hell are you doing who are you" I give him a small smile and say "My name is Willow im friends with Harper she brought you here to my home, so I could help you and all the men you see are my mates" Pointing at Kai I say "That's Kai and that Henry that one is Jack that is Theo" Looking over to Jake I can see Kane following my line of view when he spots Jake his eyes get huge "Jake is that you Oh my goddess I thought I would never see you again" Jake gave a small smirk and the asked "is it just you and Harper or is there others that will be coming to find you guys?" a look of apprehension crossed Kane's face before he answered "im not sure maybe Kage and his mate Lana oh and our dad when the outbreak happened my mom was the first to be bitten she was cheating on dad with a rogue well she went to go meet him, and he was already bitten so in the middle of them having s*x he turned and ripped into my mom when dad found her she was naked and losing a lot of blood dad left her in the care of the pack doctors well just about 2 hours later she turned and started attacking other pack members then they turned and the next thing you know we are the last 3" I had a question i wanted to ask him to get both of them to calm down a little "So how long have you and Harper been mates?" Kane looked at me and i could Instantly see love in his eyes "I found her about 7 years ago she was a waitress at the diner in town I had to keep her hidden because of our dad and brother they would have killed her just for being a human about a year after I found her I ran from the pack because one night when I snuck off to go see her Kage followed me when he saw me hugging Harper and kissing her he ran back to our dad and told him when I was on my way back my best friend mind linked me to tell me that our dad and given orders to grab me and lock me in the cells so he could go find Harper and kill her I thanked my friend and ran back to her place, and we went to Jake's Grandma's old place and hid out there for a wile after the outbreak my friend was able to mind link me to tell me about what had happened to my mom and the rest of the pack" by the time he got dome talking I had him cleaned up and all his wounds dressed Harper was coming down the stairs when the alarm sounded alerting me that someone was at the gate I walked over to the Monitor turning it on when the screen came to life I saw two men standing outside the gate trying to figure out how to get in I called Jake over and asked if he recognized them "I don't know maybe" a few seconds later Kane hobbled over and looked "yeah that them they look almost feral" I grabbed my rifle slinging it over my shoulder "Jake Henry and Jack come with me Kai and Theo I want you to lock down the house when we leave you need to push this button and if they try and come in the gate push this button it activates the electric fence and this diel turns up the power ok" they both nod and Jake Henry Johnathan and me all walk out the door when we close the door I hear the lock-down engage "Ok when we get their I want you two to open the little window in the gate you can talk to them through that i don't want them to know that im in the lookout" when we get to the gate we can hear them talking about how they can get over the wall i slowly and quietly went up the stairs.
