Asteroid Embryology
“Lord Gorgo,” snarls a voice. “I have an incoming message for you, my lord.”
“Who is it?” snaps Gorgo.
“It’s the Mantoid lord, Lord Verrovox.”
A chill travels down Lord Gorgo’s lizard spine as he breathes through a drying throat. “Very well,” orders Lord Gorgo. “Open the communication between us.”
The asteroid ship falls silent, becoming dark as an unknown force shrouds Lord Gorgo’s face. Emergency lighting flickers, illuminating Gorgo’s scaly skin.
He stands to wait for the Mantoid lord to speak.
“Lord Gorgo,” commands a deep demonic voice, which rumbles through the ship.
