Transcend
Thundering feet stomp the sidewalk, fracturing pavement; a tail lashes, whipping into a department store window—glass showers to concrete. A Giganotosaurus raises its head toward the Grandidierite sky, wailing at the top of its lungs, the force of the vibrations breaking more shop glass. Sensing something, the Giganotosaurus swiftly lunges its jaws toward a corner of a building, sniffing with flared nostrils; drool drips from its teeth.
A hooded figure stands on the ledge of the building. It freezes, holding its breath, not moving a muscle, eyes steady.
