Rion is blinded by a flash of white light as though heaven has opened its gates. His eyes circle in amazement, and his mouth opens in shock as he stares up to a familiar sight, gasping for breath. His droid eyes swirl rapidly, trying to compute his surroundings. He frantically feels all over his fur where he had just been shot, but there’s no damage. No parts are exposed. His onboard computer is silent. There’s no systems analysis—no systems of any kind, for that matter. Rion thinks this is extremely odd, but not half as bizarre as this current situation.
