Episode 1

602 Words
We have six rooms in our house. Three belong to us while the others are for guests and our future children. Not that we have decided to have children, we’re simply planning for the future. I get squished in the bed every morning, Kevin to my left and Max to my right. It was a struggle but we finally found the right and most comfortable position to sleep on our huge bed.  I get up first, kissing them both on their forehead, and thankfully they’re still asleep because it could become a huge argument if I kissed one first in front of the other. For two people that agreed to date me together, they sure argued a lot.  In our bathroom is a bathtub big enough for the three of us; since we had a custom order to celebrate our relationship. We hadn’t actually planned how the wedding was going to be or how we were going to tell our parents. We just kind of got together.  When people live together, it’s the smallest things that set them off. For some reason, both of them like pressing the toothpaste from the middle, which is totally unacceptable so I do the most adult and humane thing; I keep toothpaste in my overhead cupboard. They may or may not know it’s there but it’s the only way we can keep our sanity. Don’t ask me about other essentials, the long struggle to get there was brutal.  Did you think I was going to yell to wake them up? What kind of monster do you think I am to wake my babies up?  Finishing my shower, I come out to see Max awake. He’s yawning and stretching, his morning face looking cute as hell. He sees me in my towel and lumbers over to hug me.  “Mornin’ May” “Morning babe. Did you sleep well....oof! Your breath stinks! What did you eat last night?” “Garlic bread. Kevin brought it back after work” “I thought he said none of us were allowed to touch that” “He put it in the general fridge. It’s safe to say he set himself up for that” “That’s not an excuse. He’ll totally kill you!” “Meh” he shrugged, hugging me tighter. “Babe, you’re squeezing me! Let go. If he wakes up, I’ll be late for work” “Do you have to go?” He pouted. I look away. If I look at that angelic pout any longer, I might die, seriously.  “I have to go. I have a meeting this morning” “No! I won’t let you go!” “Babe, please. I’ll buy you anything. Just let go. It’s almost time for him to wake up” “No!” He held on tighter. I struggled to get out of his hold but it was of no use. He was too strong for a househusband.  “You two are being noisy! Shut up!” Kevin grumbled, throwing a pillow at us. This distracted Max and provided enough time for me to sneak away. However, before I reached the closet, the towel was ripped away by Kevin. He smirked, looking absolutely delicious with his half-lidded eyes. “And where do you think you’re going, May?” I think you can understand why I was late to work that day.
