But you do matter—more than you’ll ever know, more than I could ever show you.” “Just…” he continues. “Willa and I went through so much s**t, so much f*****g s**t, Katarina, that I focused only on protecting what we built together. That’s all I focused on, nothing else. I go blind when it comes to that woman and her safety. But I’ve always had you in my mind; Willa too,” he laughs softly, fondly. “Willa adores you. I know she’s missed you more than she’s missed Savannah, and she’s been friends with her since childhood, so imagine how much you mean to her.”
